My name is Tim Holland and I am a freelance blogger and writer living in Maryland. I am also a published author. My first book came out in 2010 and is titled "Sports Talk Radio Is A Waste of Time (And so is this Book)" I call it a common sense approach to sports topics covering the past, present and future. It is written from my perspective as a player, coach, writer, historian and official with over thirty years of experience. I have played and coached youth and high school sports. I am currently a high school football official with two state championships under my belt. I have been a freelance writer and blogger since 2003. I have written about politics, religion and humor, but sports is my strongsuit. My current website is Sportscommonsense.com where you will find the blog "The Games We Play."
